Jen and Aaron got married at Hothorpe Hall – The Woodlands venue near Market Harborough. Jen is my sisters best friend, so I was touched and honoured she asked me to capture their day. Their wedding day was a beautiful summers day so they had a ceremony and readings outside amongst the woodland and it was such a gorgeous setting! Jen went for colourful flowers and decorations and hung lanterns and flowers in jars from the trees which looked truly magical.
Guests were encouraged to wear bright colours and they really wanted a fun, relaxed day with a touch of glamour. Jen wore a stunning Suzanne Neville dress which was altered to create a bespoke dress. There were lawn games and outside seating areas and a fire pit where guests toasted marshmallows in the evening. Their cake was an incredible tower of colourful macarons which everyone enjoyed and their pup was a part of the wedding too (I love dogs at weddings!)
Later in the day a Mr & Mrs game created a lot of laughs and there was also a live band to ensure the party really started. Jen and Aaron also surprised guests with a beautiful choreographed dance!
To finish the day they did a sparkler exit and then they kindly asked me to stay on for the party, so I joined the dance floor and ended the day dancing to the amazing live band!
